Do you take formal wear alterations?

Amy is not currently taking on formal wear, bridal, groom, groomsmen or bridesmaids garments. Her goal in alterations is to reduce the amount of clothing that heads to the landfill and build you an everyday wardrobe that feels great to wear!

How long is your turnaround time?

Turnaround time depends on the project. Amy usually asks for 1 to 2 weeks. Rush orders are available for a $25 fee on regular alterations and starting at $30 for all others.

What should I bring to alteration appointments?

Please bring the shoes you’re most likely to wear with your outfit.

Why is there only 1 walk-in day for the studio?

As a working artist, Amy enjoys having a flexible schedule and is not aiming to have a retail store in a traditional sense. But don’t let this deter you! Please contact Amy and schedule an appointment. You can also keep up on updates by following Red Collar Studios on Instagram.

Do you take donations?

Donations are always appreciated! Red Collar Studios focuses on natural fibers such as linen, cotton, wool, cashmere, silk, and leather. It can come in all forms such as button-ups, bedding, curtains, or scrap fabric. Amy is not able to supply a write off but she is happy to discounted alteration services.
